Chiesa di Santa Vincenzo e Anastasio Photo Gallery

The church is located right next to the Trevi fountain and served as the parish church for the Quirinal Palace, which was the residence of the pope until 1870. A little fun fact for you is that you can find the praecordia of over 20 popes in this church. When a pope died and he was to be embalmed they would remove the praecordia of the pope, which is the organs within the chest and place them in a jar. These jars are kept at the church.
