As a first generation Italian-American I have a deep appreciation for my heritage. My parents instilled in me a sense of pride and taught me the values and traditions associated with being Italian. I have a passion to learn as much as I can about my heritage and in 1997 this passion led me to become a Guide for Italian Culture at About.com.

I worked for About.com for nearly four years and during that time I had created over 1000 informative pages on a variety of topics dealing with Italian culture. In October 2001, Italian Culture moved to a new domain titled Italiansrus.com. During my time at About.com Italian Culture was an extremely popular site averaging nearly 300,000 page views a month.

My work has appeared in La Voce and the IFAFA Newsletter. I also wrote the forward to the 1st edition of The Complete Idiot's Guide(R) to Italian History and Culture. In addition to this site I am designing and maintaining the Bishop McDowell Regional School Web site.

I look forward to continuing to expand my knowledge of Italian culture and in the process sharing with you all the intriguing and interesting facets of Italy and its wonderful culture. In addition to running a Web site on Italian culture I am a proud member of various Italian-American related organizations.
