For 15 years Cookie wrote a popular nostalgia column for her community newspaper The Willow Glen Resident (The Silicon Valley Metro Newspapers...San Jose California). Her generational stories have appeared in several nostalgia books and newspapers across the country. They include the San Francisco Chronicle and several "Chicken Soup for the Soul Books." She is currently writing a monthly column titled: "Ethnic Images" for LA VOCE, a popular Las Vegas Italian American newspaper. Her writing has been inspired by her Italian Americana family who have given her a lifetime of wonderful and indelible memories to record and recall.
