  • Marinated Peppers
    Recipe contributed by Robert Germano,
    which is from his book The Eve of Seven Fishes


    • Peperoni (Red & Green Peppers) - 6 to 8 Medium
    • Aglio (Garlic) - 2 1/2 Cloves
    • Olio di Oliva (Olive Oil) - 5 teaspoons
    • Aceto (White Vinegar) - 1 quart
    • Zucchero (Sugar) - 2 cups
    • Sale (Salt) - 1/2 teaspoon
    • Aqua (Water) - 1 cup
    • Caldi del Pepe (Hot Pepper Flakes - To Taste
    Cut Peppers into large cubes and place in a large bowl. Bring to boil all the other ingredients for 5 minutes. Pour hot mixture over the Peppers and marinate for 36 hours in refrigerator.
