Leonardo Solimine
Send Me Your Comments Leonardo Solimine is a forty-something native Washingtonian. Leo grew up going to Mass at his local Italian-American church, The Holy Rosary. The church encouraged community and as a youngster, he danced the Tarantella (poorly) and sang in the choir (also poorly). His parents came to the US in the 1950s, and he was fortunate to have attended Gonzaga College High School, where his heritage was respected by the good Jesuits. Although he grew up playing and enjoying baseball and football, his greatest thrills in life have been Italy's two World Cups. Leo's artticles have been published in a few newsletters, magazines and websites across the US. Otherwise, it's more a labor of love. But, he also gets to write what he wanta and when he wants, which is very liberating. He also has the opportunity to discover great new sites and people.
